Evaporative Cooling

Following on from their established relationship with Cosaf, Aimia Foods invited the HVAC specialists to create an energy efficient and environmentally responsible cooling solution for their newly developed packaging plant in Haydock.

Technology giants Siemens, employed HVAC experts Cosaf, to design, supply and install a low energy, low carbon cooling system to replace the current air conditioning system serving the automation and drives test cells at their Congleton plant.

Having expanded their office space, Shrewsbury based West Mercia Supplies were looking to enhance and upgrade their current HVAC systems. With a strong industry reputation, Cosaf were invited to pitch for the work alongside four other companies.

Pegler’s radiator valve assembly line is housed in a modern, highly insulated facility fitted with roof glazing to provide natural daylight. Working on a 24/5-shift system, the 20-strong workforce assembles manual and thermostatic radiator valves for commercial and domestic use.

Having already establishing the effectiveness of the Breezair evaporative cooling system in reducing high temperatures in its frying & packaging areas, Patak’s Foods had no hesitation in installing the environmentally friendly coolers into its bottling hall.
